The Who
The Who is coming in concert and I think I have to see them. I've seen many concerts in my day and by far The Who was the loudest show ever. I saw them back in 1987 at the Silverdome in Pontiac. Certain bands are just arena bands, and The Who fit that bill. I prefer smaller venues, because the ambiance is much better of course, but The WHO rock and they are a must see. Much like the Stones.
Daltrey is one of those rockers that has really shown his age though. His voice is nowhere near the same as it once was. Many of the rock dinosaurs get better, like Robert Plant for example. But Daltry is just old. Without John Entwhistle on bass, I am not sure what to expect if I do go.
I don't think there is a WHO song that I really don't like come to think of it. They deserve higher honors in my music ladder that's for sure. I can't explain, I think it's love.
