Liberty: Hypocrisy

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. I bash Detroit and the state of Michigan quite often. Because I live here and see the problems everyday. I think it gives me ownership to bash it to some degree. I do find it a bit uneasy when outsiders bash the state though. Not that they are wrong or don't have a right too do that, but I somehow take it personally. This probably applies to all states I suppose, except Ohio. GO BLUE!

I have an issue with Congress bashing the auto executives for their private jets, when most of them use private jets, or at least get rides from executives.

I have a problem with Congress criticizing how these guys are running their business in the ground, when they are running the country in the ground.

I have a problem people complaining they don't have money, yet always have a pack of smokes in their pocket.

Hypocrisy or double standards?

    I’m not really for the Auto Executives myself and personally I think they should tighten there wallets but it seems that one of them should have asked the congressman , did he get to work by car or limo , or did he fly commercial or private jet , it seems that I heard the pot calling the kettle black in that hearing, but the executives should tell the congress what they are will to do , are they going to build more fuel efficient cars? Or are they going to invest in ways to build electric cars I.E. the GM EV1 which they killed off because it was a good car , or spend the money the same way , and build cars the same way? And just ask for more money when they need it.

  6. Congress is playing with the bail out, they probalby want their own jets to be bigger and better etc. GM should be bailed out. Its a matter or doing the right thing. The money issues would be helped if they stopped paying employees who were layed off years ago or fraud medical ie claim back injuries, mental problems and so on. It almost seems like they are the new welfare system for the Detroit area. Work at GM for a bit, get bennies and money for life. My father was a lifer at Gm but was salaried not union,.,...I will stop now.
