What is Life?

What I feel, I cant say
But my love is there for you anytime of day
But if its not love that you need
Then Ill try my best to make everything succeed

Tell me, what is my life without your love
Tell me, who am I without you, by my side

What I know, I can do
If I give my love now to everyone like you
But if its not love that you need
Then Ill try my best to make evrything succeed

Tell me, what is my life without your love
Tell me, who am I without you, by my side
Tell me, what is my life without your love
Tell me, who am I without you, by my side

What I feel, I cant say
But my love is there for you any time of day
But if its not love that you need
Then Ill try my best to make everything succeed

Tell me, what is my life without your love
Tell me, who am I without you, by my side
Oh tell me, what is my life without your love

NEVADA CHANGES THE COURSE OF HISTORY...

NEVADA CHANGES THE COURSE OF HISTORY...
For those of you who REALLY WANT DESIRE AND NEED TO HAVE A FREE NATION....Nevada has set a landmark in the halls of history.....Today they have reconvened and remade the NEVADA GOP...and even as I am posting this they are electing delegates to the NATIONAL CONVENTION....(mostly, if not all, Ron Paul delegates) THIS WILL COUNT TOWARDS RON PAUL WINNING THE STATE OF NEVADA....with will allow them to NOMINATE HIM FROM THE FLOOR which is what this whole thing is really all about. Once he has a state that he legally wins(ie gets the majority of delegates for that state) He can then be nominated for President at the National Republican Convention. THIS MEANS THIS CAMPAIGN IS IN FULL GEAR!!!!!

Here is a bit of information on how they are doing this legally....

They did not have a quorum based on the old convention, but that convention has been invalidated due to rule breaking.(see below in bold) So now they have a new quorum with full attendance.Which means it is fully legal and shall withstand the scrutiny of legal challenges that may come!!!!

There is no "former" convention, the convention NEVER recessed. The convention has always been going on. Under RONR (10th. Ed.) sec. 20, p. 222, ln. 30,

"A recess is a short intermission in the assembly's proceedings, commonly only of a few minutes, which does not close the meeting and after which business will immediately be resumed at exactly the point where it was interrupted."

Thus, by definition, a recess can never be used to close a meeting. Under RONR, there are two types of recess: (1) a privileged motion to recess, requiring a majority vote, or (2) a unilateral recess being declared by the chair if it was provided for in the agenda or program. On April 26th, a RECESS was not provided for in the program or agenda (even though the agenda on April 26th. may have provided for ADJOURNMENT at a particular time, completely different from a recess).

Thus, the purported recess on April 26th. would have been valid ONLY if a motion to recess was made and seconded by the convention delegates, and the motion was voted on by a majority of delegates. Even then, however, the recess could not have been used to close the meeting.

For this reason shown above they now have a new quorum that is roughly 300 (a bit more) delegates. And now business is taking place with full legality and force of law behind them. WE THE PEOPLE SHALL AND WILL PREVAIL!!!!!

Sheeple

Now that Hillary is out of the picture, her faithful are flocking to Obama. Where only a few weeks ago, they couldnt stand the guy. Now they "feel good" about him because he wrote a personal check to help pay off her debt. I find this incredibly laughable and sad at the same time. All that wasted rhetoric and talk where they based each other means nothing now. So the sheeple will just support the party line, because everyone wants to side withsome, with a winner, with the quickest way to support the object of their misdirected anger.

1. Ed McMahon has been on television recently because he has mortgage problems. He's about to lose his mansion, and is crying out for help. Blow me.

2. George Carlin was an identifier of truth. While some see him as a comedian, he was a truth seeker first. He made us look at what was normal, and showed us how absurd it really all is. Long live his truth.

3.
Dippin Dots is that funky cold ice cream that really isn't that good to begin with. Yet I still see them around, and the logo says Ice Cream of The Future. Yet they've been around for years right? So how does that make it the future? And why isnt anyone else doing the same thing. Lame.

6.
I was at the beach recently and a waterpark. I've concluded that 99% of all people should not wear bathing suits. Also don't you find it funny that a person wearing a bathing suit is ok in public, yet if they wore a bra out in public people would freak.

4. Is there anything worse than waiting for someone to come through on something, then they don't? No explanations, no apologies, no nothing...they just carry on as if it's no big deal. Sometimes I think they just think you'll forget about it. And if I don't say something about it, it may lend itself to them thinking they got off the hook. I may not say something, but I don't forget. Trust is everything.

5.
I have no problem with people joining a church and giving money to the church they believe in and support. To each his own. I do find it odd that a church would require you to give 10% of your salary. I have friends that do this, and it boggles my mind. Whatever.

7. The Red wings have won 4 Stanley Cups in my lifetime. Does it get any better than that? That will be hard to top. I am satisfied with that organization, probably the best in all of sports.

[ This blog is brought to you by the word vexation ]

9. Lack of common sense! So I order 20 items from a sporting goods company. They ship me 15. Where is the other 5? They canceled it because it was on backorder. Backorder? What does that mean? I call them and they say they wont be getting the 5 other items. What?! Then why did you ship me the 15 if I didn't get 20? Why not ask me instead of shipping me a partial order and expecting me to pay for this. Now I have to send the entire order back, and hope they give me a refund quickly. Amazing.

8.
We have the technology (underwater robots) to drill off shore on both coasts safely. I understand the plight of those wanting to save the environment, but the time has come to start drilling. Not for profit, but to lower the darn cost of oil! I like spotted owls as much as the next guy, but I love driving my car just a tad better. Let's drill now.

10. Is there anything more awkward than being in an elevator with a stranger or a group of strangers? No one talks, no one says anything. Some people just look at you, some people look away. Most everyone looks up at the numbers thinking it will somehow move faster if you they look. I dunno, they need to make this less awkward. Install TVs in there? Seats? A mini bar maybe? I'm open for suggestions. That reminds me, I used to work in a large skyscraper where for 1 month some person would pee in the elevator. They called him the pee bandit. They never caught him. It pissed me off to walk into that elevator sometimes.

Comments on the election from WSJ

You people that talk about Ron Paul in a negative way should be ashamed. Ron Paul believes in the Constitution of the United States which has given each and every one of us the freedom we all have loved. When you get men in office who don’t really follow the Constituion 100%, you will loose those freedoms one at a time. Ron Paul’s message made me wake up and read, learn who really controls the people in Washington DC. We need people who believe in FREEDOM, the Constituion. I pray for a young man to appear in 2012 who has the same believes that Ron Paul has….It’s not the man, it’s the message

If you choose Republican, then you choose fascism. If you choose Democratic, then you choose communism. If you choose Ron Paul then you choose liberty, by the people for the people, but in any case YOU CHOOSE.

Obama and Paul are just about as polar opposite as you can get, other than wanting to end the war in Iraq. Paul wants smaller government, lower taxes, and maximal civil liberties, and freedom–including the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. Obama wants larger government, higher taxes, to essentially erase the Second Amendment, and to control our lives (e.g. how much we drive, when we use our air conditioner, what kind of light bulbs we use, etc.). Suggesting a Paul/Obama ticket is like mixing filet mignon with vomit.

Do you even know what Ron Paul believes in? McCain believes in big government controlling everything. Ron Paul believes in small government and the liberty to live your own life. They are so far differing in views that anyone who believes in the same ideals as Ron Paul, would NOT vote for McCain.

“When the Government fears the People, that is Liberty. When the People
fear the Government, that is Tyranny.” - Thomas Jefferson

Ron Paul’s constituent’s couldn’t care less if has an R hehind his name or an L or an I. They love him. He won the congressional primary challenge against him in such a landslide it was as if his opponent weren’t even running. The Republicans can try to push him out of the party, but would just make themselves look evil in the process.

Obama will probably be in the Whitehouse come 2009. That is precisely the problem. Less than 25% of all American adults will vote for Obama and yet he will be allowed to push us all around. A fie on Obama and McCain. I vote for freedom. Those who think the president can “run the economy” are wrong. All the president can do is “run the economy into the ground” or get out of the way.

Ron Paul has driven a stake into the heart of the republican party… the fractured remains will reform as the neo-cons. and the libertarians, this is good! if you take away the manpower from the republican party, the 3rd parties will swell! this is a blessing to me. Bob Barr is the first of many to come from the republican party, an d i welcome them with open arms.
stop the violence, stop the fiat money, stop religious persecution(leave the kids alone!) then and only then can we enjoy a truly free nation

Ron Paul is an ICON in todays politics and shall continue on long after the Nov. elections. Truth and integrity is the building block of his abilities. That is what progress demands.

For Ron Paul to support McCain is unthinkable. Ron Paul has integrity; he wants to end our military presence around the word and bring the boys home; he wants to eventually abolish the Federal Reserve System. There is more. These views are 180 degrees from McCain’s insanity. And yet, McCain will win the General election in November. The Diebold machines have already been programmed. About all any of us can do is to support Ron Paul in his new initiative and try to influence our representatives and hold their feet to the fire on issues. That’s our last, and only, option. Might as well use it.

Ron Paul is out, so should I vote for McCain instead? Are you kidding me?!!!
Its the political roads that Bush/McCain decide on taking that are so disasterous and self-serving that drive us to the views of Ron Paul.
Just because both McCain and Paul consider themselves Republicans doesn’t tie them together in any way whatsoever.
Ron Paul admonishes Bernanke and the Federal Reserve while McCain praises them. If you know anything about the Federal Reserve, that one is easy to figure out.
McCain my CONSIDER himself a Republican, but that alone is NOT going to get him any votes from any Ron Paul supporters.

Somebody asked: “Why can’t Paul see that he and McCain might make a potent force this fall?” It’s because Ron Paul knows exactly what McCain’s agenda is, to keep us in the war and take us to WWIII. McCain WILL NOT BRING BACK THE ECONOMY that the United States needs, gas prices will keep going up, and we will not be any safer from terrorism. Ron Paul knows that and he did the right thing. He is the only Republican I like.

Ron Paul Changes Gears

1. Some say that love is the illusion that one person is actually different than then next. Seems like a huge generalization, but have you ever really thought about why you love the person in your life? Why do you love people and then move on to other relationships?

2. Pssst. I think that everyone gossips. Some just know more than others, some just have the nerve to say things. That might make that person the gossiper, or the big mouth, but I think that's what makes them different. Otherwise everyone talks about everyone pretty much.

4. I saw RUSH in concert last week at Joe Louis Arena. Great concert per usual. These guys sound amazing, and they are right on note for note. Sometimes Geddy Lee doesn't hit the high notes, but they all recover very well. They didn't play my favorite song THE PASS, but the 28 song playlist was pretty strong. A few friends of mine wanted more classics, but I'm OK with those not being played. I really like the new stuff, and every concert I've been to by them, they do play songs I've never heard before live. I've seen them 6 times, and along with Elvis Costello or The Rolling Stones are the only bands I'd care to see more than once.

3. I have had this mentioned to me several times over the years. That people won't approach me at first because they think I'm pissed off or mean. I like this actually, but it's not entirely true. I'm probably pissed off, but I'm not mean. Then after they meet me and get to know me, they tell me I'm not really like that. Well that kinda pisses me off! First impressions are everything?

5. Tim Russert dying was a bigger news event than I'd ever thought. He got more coverage them most celebrities, and that's fine. But make no mistake, it was because he was in the media. I didn't dislike him, but I could never trust him. He was a die hard liberal, and from New York no less...almost the worst kind (Massachusetts liberals being the worst). But I did enjoy Meet The Press often. Sunday mornings I like to write with the show in the background. It'll be different from now on. He was good though, I'll give him that.

[This blog is brought to you by the word IMPATIENT and the number 215]

6. I really like golf, even though I haven't golfed in a while. I really can't stand golf attire. I don't like golf shirts, can't stand the hats, and the dress pants bug me. I understand real sports have uniforms, but golf has got to change. Someone please change this. It bothers me.

7. I had a doctor tell me the other day flat out that I need to lose weight. He didn't recommend it, he didn't ask me, he didn't hint. He told me to me face - lose weight or you are going to pay for it. Ok! Diet Green Tea by Snapple has zero calories fyi.

8. Do you have something in your past that you are dying to tell someone? But you refrain from doing so because your better judgement says not to say anything? So you just keep it inside you, yet it keeps coming to your brain as something worth mentioning. Don't you wish you could just erase it forever? How do you do that without it bothering you?

9. People ask me if I'm going to vote for Ron Paul still. Yes I am. You can get an absentee ballot, and vote for him this way. The message is important. Those of you under the illusion of change that really just want your taxes raised more, please vote for Obama. Those of you that want more recession and our economy at the hands of other countries please vote for McCain. You are screwed either way. The lesser of two evils is still evil. Don't compromise your principles, because then you win nothing. The Revolution continues.

10. You have a right to be happy. You should be happy. Why are you with him/her if you aren't happy? I just want to be happy. She isn't happy. He isn't happy. Are you happy? Is it me or is the word HAPPY overused or misused. What the heck does being happy really mean. Are you walking around with a smile on your face 24/7? Are the happy people the ones that wish you a Happy Monday? Because those people don't make me happy I know that. Is your goal to be happy, and if so how is that possible. I tend to strive to be content, thus that ultimately makes me happy. Yet I don't know if I should be achieving more or not.

The Trees - state of politics

Politics in a nutshell - THE TREES by RUSH

There is unrest in the forest,
There is trouble with the trees,
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas.

The trouble with the maples,
(And they're quite convinced they're right)
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light.
But the oaks can't help their feelings
If they like the way they're made.
And they wonder why the maples
Can't be happy in their shade.

There is trouble in the forest,
And the creatures all have fled,
As the maples scream "Oppression!"
And the oaks just shake their heads

So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights.
"The oaks are just too greedy;
We will make them give us light."
Now there's no more oak oppression,
For they passed a noble law,
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe, and saw.

How to write in Ron Paul

How to write in Ron Paul
Goal:

Institute a National RON PAUL WRITE-IN Campaign coupled with a very loud and very clear RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION DEMAND. Each unto itself has its benefits; combined, they have POWER! And WE, THE PEOPLE, had better act while we still can.

Here's the HOW-TO:

Step 1:

WRITE-IN RON PAUL in the Presidential Choice portion of any ballot! Simple, right?

WRONG! Unless there is a special provision within the polling district there aren't any write-in capabilities on electronic voting machines, even those that use PAPER ballots and immediately inserted into an electronic reader. Those readers simply will not accept a ballot with even a smudge or smear outside the designated vote area. WRITING-IN RON PAUL at the Polls, even Early Voting, just will not work.

Then how?

APPLY FOR AN ABSENTEE BALLOT! Call the County Clerk's Elections Office and request AN ABSENTEE BALLOT, simple as that. They are PAPER ballots, they are LEGAL ballots, and they MUST be counted and retained ensuring a PAPER TRAIL should a re-count become necessary, and THAT is a decided advantage toward our strategy. Any 'error' here or there DOES NOT invalidate the rest of the ballot - regardless of outright lies to the contrary - the remainder IS VALID AND MUST BE COUNTED. Repeat - Even a soiled ABSENTEE BALLOT has to be counted as a valid vote in the election.

Step 2:

WRITE-IN RON PAUL in the Presidential Selection area whether there is a space for it or not and you will have made your point loud and clear. All ABSENTEE BALLOTS must be placed inside special ballot/voting envelopes - which are put inside the voter identification envelope - and then inside the return envelope. Investing your Presidential vote in RON PAUL is a far greater investment in the Nation, because even though it will not count FOR him, it will count AGAINST the other choices. All the other candidates and their parties will get your message in no uncertain terms, and your vote will not be among the other taken-for-granted millions. Why and How are explained below.

In most states ABSENTEE BALLOTS cannot even be opened nor can counting begin until the Polls close. ABSENTEE BALLOTS must be HAND counted if rejected by the Election Center's electronic readers! Then they have to be HAND-opened (the first view, usually by teams representing BOTH/ALL parties). THAT is the main reason for those massive delays in getting a final count. Often ABSENTEE BALLOTS change the outcome of an election.

If the electronic reader glitches - and they will as result of your RON PAUL WRITE-IN - those ballots will then have to be HAND-counted (second view, by teams representing BOTH/ALL parties) and HAND-recounted (third view, again by teams representing BOTH/ALL parties) for verification. And all under the observation of those on-scene as representatives sent by political parties, campaigns and candidates. Election Central is the bottom line as the final count is everything. Sometimes it takes DAYS to do all the tabulations and that makes news, especially when there's an upset or a reported impropriety. Those long hours - and the reason for it: RON PAUL WRITE-INs - will make excellent gossip and news coverage.

If ignored by media again, a lot of politically active people have had to READ those ABSENTEE BALLOTS (lots of views by BOTH/ALL parties) and the RON PAUL and RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION messages (see Step 4:, below) cannot be missed nor misinterpreted! The revelation of RON PAUL WRITE-INs cannot but send a very powerful message to any and all parties and candidates, especially those who actually win: that they DO NOT have a mandate to continue the socialist destruction of our Constitution and Nation; that WE, THE PEOPLE, are not going to go away; and that RON PAUL and his principles are going to remain longer than the Rock of Gibraltar!

Step 3:

Call the County Clerk's Election Office and VOLUNTEER to work the Polls, vote counting or Canvassing Boards representing whatever party you're registered as, and take any position they offer. They always need people and will TRAIN you in all the processes and procedures. AND YOU GET PAID! Minimum wage, to be sure, and the hours are long, but that puts YOU - a RON PAUL and RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION supporter on the scene to ensure a FAIR and HONEST election and/or vote count. We desperately need both.

Step 4:

Including anything other than the ballot into the ABSENTEE BALLOT return envelope VIOLATES Postal Regulations and Federal Law. However, your own First Class Postage does not. When you do your RON PAUL WRITE-IN, on a separate piece of paper and in a separate envelope - write/print the words in huge letters "RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION! ALL OF IT! NOW!" and stamp and send it to the same mailing address as the ABSENTEE BALLOT return envelope. Why? We want that message into the eyes of party regulars who are usually political appointees to run the elections and do the counting.

This part of the Campaign will start one hell of a fire-storm that nobody - including media - can do anything about. All County Clerks are required BY LAW to log and maintain any and all letters REGARDLESS of source or content. The County Records expense alone will get a lot of official attention and THE MESSAGE will not be lost on any of them. You don't need to add your name or address if you don't want to, the MESSAGE will BE the MESSAGE and especially if the Election's Office gets flooded with NON-IDENTICAL letters.

Don't print and mail a batch that are all printed alike to the same recipient. Same message: YES; same layout, color, et cetera, NO! It's junk mail and presents the perception that we're too few in number to amount to anything. Making enough copies to send to each of your local, state and federal officials, candidates and incumbents, is a second hammer-blow none dare ignore. The more voters we have do this, the better.

Effect:

The sudden surge for ABSENTEE BALLOTS will potentially be subject to a lot of news coverage and speculation. Excellent, we need coverage. The revelation; RON PAUL WRITE-INs; is going to cause a lot of headlines and message-sending to political parties, incumbents, media and future candidates alike. Especially John McCain who isn't on all that great paper with many party conservatives, and it will absolutely devastate Marxist Hillary and all-mouth-and- no-do Barack.

This Campaign ensures our DEMANDS to RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION cannot be ignored without great political peril; an infinitely strong message that
WE, THE PEOPLE, DEMAND OUR CONSTITUTION AND OUR NATION BACK! ALL OF IT! Not little pusswilly 'provisions' here, 'permits' there or empowering some socialist-agenda 'agency' (Homeland Security) to handle our CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS 'on our behalf'.

ALL OF IT! NOW! Not a slew of 'promises' for the next election, NOW! While they're still in office! REPEAT - ALL OF IT! NOW!

WE, THE PEOPLE, are charged with the responsibility of holding our elected officials and their appointees to their Oath of Office - "to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic" - and to call them into IMMEDIATE ACCOUNT at the slightest impropriety.

2010 is not that far over the horizon, and this Campaign will make our point very clear right along with the political consequences for any Elected or Appointed official who refuses or fails.

We cannot leave RON PAUL and our Nation any greater legacy.

The Malachi Crunch!

RUSH albums

Rush (1974) - Working Man. Just a classic anthem rock type tune. I love the guitar solo.

Fly by Night (1975) - I love Fly by Night, it's just classic Rush. But I really like Anthem. It symbolzies the libertarian philosophy the band aspires too. An ode to Ayn Rand.

Caress of Steel (1975) - I think I'm going bald I sing alot lately in the mirror..but Bastille Day is one the best songs ever. Lakeside park is cool, but Bastille wins hands down.

2112 (1976) - Overture no doubt! A passage to Bangkok though is a close second.

A Farewell to Kings (1977) - Closer to the heart is great, but I would listen to Xanadu on my headphones before my soccer games to get pumped up and ready to play.

Hemispheres (1978) - The Trees. The lyrics are dead on. Friggin democrats!

Permanent Waves (1980) Natural Science is the best song on this album, but Spirit and Freewill have
the lyrics that will last a life time. One likes to believe in the freedom of music...

Moving Pictures (1981) This is my favorite Rush album. My only problem is it only has 7 friggin songs.
Tom Sawyer, Red Barchetta, Vital Signs, YYZ, and Limelight are equally great!

Signals (1982) I played this album to death when I got it. All the songs are similar with a heavy synth. So my favorite was always The Analog Kid, because it kicked!

Grace Under Pressure (1984) Very underrated album. Red Sector A is a favorite as is The Body Electric. I have a rare import of this on red vinyl, it's cool. Between the wheels though has a slight edge ont the rest.

Power Windows (1985) Mystic Rythyms and The Big Money got the airplay. I like them, but Manhattan Project is my favorite. Lyrically this was a great album. Not a powerful album musically though, but
a must for any die hard.

Hold Your Fire (1987) Probably their weakest album, but Mission is a great song. I love the lyrics and the transistions.

Presto (1989) The Pass is probably one of my favorite songs of all time. It's Rush's favorite song, so that must mean something. it has everything!

Roll the Bones (1991) Ghost of a Chance is a song that I checked out today. The lyrics are cool, and
I just like it. I always found this album complex and super progressive.

Counterparts (1993) This has to be the only album where I don't have a favorite. It's all good but nothing really stands out. Probably Animate as it's the only song I could easily identify if you play it. The rest I wouldnt know, or I'd have to guess a few times.

Test for Echo (1996) Test for echo is what I like, and Half the World. I have this at my desk, and play it when I'm ticked off. I do tech support, so needless to say I play this album often.

Vapor Trails (2002) Earthshine is my favorite song on the album by far. However Ghost Rider reminds me of the book, and that has to be the most powerful message. I need a bike, gotta ride!

Feedback (2004) The Seeker. I love the Who, and Rush does this song justice. The other songs are ok but seem contrived.

Snakes & Arrows (2007) This is like Moving Pictures, take your pick here. I love all these songs. The baselines are the best of all the Rush albums. The Main Monkey Business or Spindrift get me going. Far Cry is great too. To me this album best represent Rush from 1990 on.

Quotes from Obama's book.

----------------- Bulletin Message -----------------
From: KIMBERLY ~ DELEGATE FOR RON PAUL ~
Date: Jun 8, 2008 9:56 AM

I had recieved this in a e-mail and thought I'd share it with my friends.

Just passing it on and I'm trying to find confirmation. Below are a few lines from Obama's books ' in his own words:...

From Dreams of My Father:
'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'..

From Dreams of My Father:
'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.'...

From Dreams of My Father:...
There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'...

From Dreams of My Father:...
'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'...

From Dreams of My Father:...
'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, Dubois and Mandela.'...

From Audacity of Hope:
'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.

R.E.M. Hollow man

I've been lost inside my head
Echoes fall off me
I took the prize last night
for complicated mess
for saying things I didn't mean
and don't believe

Believe in me
Believe in nothing
Corner me
And make me something
I've become the hollow man
have I become the hollow man I see?

I see this echoing
You had placed your trust in me
I went upside down
I emptied out the room in thirty seconds left
I can't believe you held your ground

Believe in me
Believe in nothing
Corner me
And make me something
I've become the hollow man
have I become the hollow man I see?

I'm overwhelmed
I'm on repeat
I'm emptied out
I'm incomplete
You trusted me
I want to show you
I don't want to be the hollow man

Believe in me
Believe in nothing
Corner me
And make me something
I've become the hollow man
have I become the hollow man I see?

Let's go Red Wings

Game 5 was out of this world unreal. 3 overtimes. I'm still tired and it's a day later. The series has been pretty good so far. The Pens arent lying down, and that's good for the game, good for the fans, good for the Wings. If they are going to win, they are going to have to really earn it. Just because they are the better team means nothing. It's the team the has the most breaks, works the hardest, and has the most luck takes home the Cup. My confidence level is low that they will win it all now, but I'm not off the bus. Never will be. Go Wings!

Murder by Numbers - The Police

I've been hearing this song alot on Sirius Spectrum 18 for some reason. I really like this song and to me defines the pure baselines that drove The Police.

A.D.D. Rumblings No. 6108

1. I just saw a stat where the average American spends about $16,000 for a dog that lives to to be 11. I'm on my 4th dog. One lived to be 18, the other 12. My current ones are 13 and 4. What I could with all of that friggin money right now, not to mention all the investments and IRAs I could have put that towards. Heck paying off some debt or bills, or have the bike I want. Or the 1970 Cadillac that I need. The pet industry is just that, made to shackle your financial freedoms away. I love my dogs, but I hate the entire concept. It's a dog eat dog world and I'm eating milkbone underwear.

2. I went out with some friends to watch the game the other night. The sports bar was located near a movie theater and a few dance clubs. What my friends and I noticed where how scantily clad the young girls were in the are. We were a bit confused as to why they were dressed this way, and why they didn't seem to really care. I don't know, if my daughter or little sister dressed like that, they wouldn't leave the house. I guess the people around these girls don't feel the same way. Just curious as to that line of thinking. It was a popularity contest on who could have the shortest skirt.

3. With the Pittsburgh Penquins in the Stanley Cup there is a constant barrage of Mario Lemieux comparisons with wonder boy Sydney Crosby. Crosby is no Lemiuex and never will be. Mario was probably the best pure goal scorer in the history of the game. While Crosby is still young, even at the same age Mario was far superior. I'm really tired of the media latching on to him making him out to be the next 99 or Mario. It's just not there. He's pretty good, but he is not that good - yet. I don't think he'll ever be, but it's possible if he improves. Go Red Wings!

5. My friend who lost his job has about a month until his last day. He has some options, and one of them is escaping corporate America for a while. His close friend is calling it Independence Day for him. Truthfully there's a part of him that wants it to happen, just to get out. Just to be free of the stress of the daily grind for a while. To get away from the red tape. To spend time actually living instead of dying a slow death in the walls of an office cube, while the world and time passes you by. I have another friend who is so sick of the layoffs and they way the company treats their employees, is going to walk away from it all too. She has enough money to live for a few years saved up, and wants to just do what she wants. I envy them both for that move towards freedom. Independence Day...can you wait for it?

4. I saw a report that thieves are now looking for houses that have manicured lawns and nice landscaping. It's a signal to them that the owner probably has good lawn equipment to steal, as well some money to boot. Well that sucks, now you have to fool thieves into being a slob and not cut your lawn? Man this world is nuts. I've always felt that if thieves could use their ways for good, they'd be filthy rich.

6. I drove by a Home Depot, and right across the same parking lot was a Lowe's Hardware store. Are you kidding me? How can the local city government allow this? Why would either want to be located in this spot? Location, Location, Location... but this can't help either one have an advantage over the other? I don't get it. I find the same thing when I see 2 drug stores at the same intersection. Enough!

[ Today's blog is brought to you by the word PATIENCE. They say patience is a virtue. I say it totally blows ]

7. Well 4 games into my softball season and we are 1 and 3. We won our last game but it wasn't pretty. Defensively we turned it up a notch, so that was refreshing. However the team we beat was not that good. We left 15 runners on base. The worst part was bases were loaded 3 times and we couldn't drive a runner home. There's something going on with our team, and I'm trying to figure it out. I believe while we are older and slower, we are not smarter. To overcome age, you have to use your brains and our guys aren't thinking. We must adapt to win. It's the only way.

8. With the Detroit Pistons losing in the Eastern Conference finals, I reaffirmed what it is that I don't like about the NBA. The Pistons represent that perfectly. They are overrated, lazy, lethargic, and could care less about winning. They emphasize things that don't matter etc. I really tried, but that fact is I just don't care anymore.

9. I'm always reading about new gadgets and the latest Internet widgets. My only frustration lies within the fact that there really is too much. There's too much of what I don't need, and not enough of what I want. Yet you have to check this out when you get a chance. Microsoft Surface: http://www.microsoft.com/surface/videos.html#gid=demos&vid=d4 Now this is very cool. I'm not a proponent of that company for various reasons, but this is bingo! They hit the nail on the head with this stuff.

10. If you don't tell someone something, is it really a lie when they find out? Probably not, but if you know they would be upset if they found out would you be willing to take the chance anyways? Isn't then the same as a lie, withholding information? The truth is the truth, no matter how you slice it or present it. Even if you don't tell someone, the truth is you still did it. Doesn't that make it wrong? You don't tell them because you want to protect them, yet when they find out you hurt them because you didn't tell them, and because you did it. Complicated.
