Lp Kim
LOL, the computer!

Dianne

Anne
I always have good luck at convenience stores, libraries, gyms, parks...there's also rest stops along the highway, hospital cafeterias, routine traffic stops, door to door sales reps and evangelists, and likewise anyone delivering or servicing anything; they're already in your home, and that's half the battle - also salvation army bellringing ... Anne
Sorry for the typo there at the end...new phone, tiny screen. Hence the eye strain

Marilu
The airport!

Christine
I met my husband on a blind date. It was set up by my boss and so we were both preapproved as decent folk. People sneer at the idea of a blind date, but if it works you already have a little social network going. Try it.

Cindy
it depends, why you would be picking them up!

Christine
Take a class for fun. You'll have at least one thing in common with them.

Stephanie
My friend just met someone on Jury Duty.....and she might even be getting married soon!

Try to meet the chef at a restaurant or at a local fruit market. They already know how to cook and will probably want to cook for you.

Sara S
Nice theory, Christine, except that they will always be working when you want to eat with them.

Christine
It could be worth it. I'd rather be with the right one some of the time than the wrong one all of the time. My husband was in the Marine Corps for the first 7 years, so I know of what I speak.

Michael
