Sports - Shut Up NHL

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. There are so many things wrong with pro hockey (NHL) it's just too long to list. The fact they are so out of touch with the fans is always the main gripe I have. The biggest gripe just dawned on me though!

For the last 20 years on just about every game on television the announcers have to mention how something is good for the game. They have to mention how such and such aspect is good for growth of the game. From Don Cherry to Ron McClean, to Mike Emerick to Bob Costas...it never ends.

SHUT UP already.

The game does not need growth. Growth for who? For me? How does the NHL bigger do anything for me? Expansion has ticked me off to no end!

Can we please get a telecast where there is no mention how the NHL is in trouble, how the community needs it, now the league will be better if such and such takes place. Blah blah blah.

There's a reason I'm not called BasketballDino; coz I know what the hell I'm talking about here. I don't know who needs me more to run , the country or the NHL.
