Truth: Waste Of Time

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. There are times I just look back and say, why did I even bother? I spent 6 months battling Bank of America on some issue. The other day I get a letter from them telling me they are no longer doing business with me. Hooray for that...but then what was the freakin point?

Another lender I had an issue with had me jumping through hoops, then they changed their policy.

This type of thing is becoming more and more of a recurrence for me. I do these things, when then it was just a waste of time.

Here's a switch. I buy 2 new tires for my car, because I figured I could save time and money...then just wait it out for the other two. Two days later I get a flat, need to get it fixed, so I get the tires replaced. I could have saved time, and money by getting them all at once...but noooo. I have to waste my time, by going again.

Sometimes I am in meetings and I see people getting all fired up and stressed out. I don't. In that regard I have learned my lesson. I see the big picture and I realize that there is no reason to get fired up, because you'll just get let down. There is no reason to stress, because it will just happen again or work itself out. Rinse, lather, repeat.

I'm all about eliminating stupid processes, and redundancy. However when you are stuck on the grid, you are at the mercy of others who do the same thing. I couldn't control the bank, but I could control the tires. Part of it, I don't think about the big picture on everything. I only think about the big picture on certain things. I need to expand my senses to accommodate all of my actions. I can then stop wasting time.
