It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. When you are a professional day dreamer like myself, you tend to revisit the same places over and over again. They make you feel good. Embarrassingly it is like acting to a degree, but more so of just an escape. Been doing it every since I can remember...pretty much full time with no pay.
I have dreamt often about having a farm, a very large farm It wouldn't have any animals. Maybe a pet skunk or house pig...but that's about it. I like animals, but taking care of them sucks. I'd make an exception for a llama, because they will spit on people. That's kinda cool...especially on command. I used to dream about having a big house sitting on a big porch with my woman, just watching the grandkids playing. I try not to dream of that anymore, because as I get older...I'd rather not think of old things and such.
Definitely would want a big red barn, where an owl could live. Who? Who? Who? Yes an owl. And hsy so you can roll around in it. A nice old blue tractor to cut the grass. A pond stocked with trout and koi to go fishing and play hockey on. A basketball court. A spot to drive and chip golf balls. A putting green. A forest so I can yell in it and wonder if anyone believes it. A dirt bike track. A swimming pool. I'm thinking 10 acres should do it. Ok I'd settle for 5, but greed is good.
That's what I think about and have for many many years. I don't know why, it is not very realistic. I suppose I could attain it, but maybe I am more comfortable just thinking about it, then actually having it. The wanting after all is always the best part you know. Yet how productive is it to just think and dream? Oh Willy Wonka...why do you tease me?
