Liberty - Guns Kill People

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Having celebrities, athletes, or sports announcers keep their 2 cents about life, news, and politics to themselves is pretty much impossible.

Yet what happens yet again?  The sports announcer whom I can't stand, Bob Costas goes on television.  Why can't I stand him?  Because he doesn't talk about sports if ever.  He does his east coast bias mixed in with the social impact of sports...which is full of speculation, innuendo, bs, and prognostication.

An NFL player kills his girlfriend, then kills himself with a gun.  He's a murderer. Plain and simple.  What does old Bob have to say to the millions of people (mostly gun owners and NRA members I'm sure) about this?  He quotes another facetious blowhard that the murders would not have happened if there were no guns.

More liberal puke, assuming that guns kill people.

You know what, guns are dangerous...especially in the hands of the wacko and evil, or government. There is no doubt.  However one thing Bob seems to forget..that one tiny little piece of TRUTH that most liberals forget. Is that guns don't kill people.  People kill people. Hello?

He didn't mean to spout this for discussion. He truly believes that people will somehow stop killing each other because of his words.

I throw my hands up in the air and walk in disgust.  Who are these people and why are they given the pulpit?
