Truth - Hoody Nation

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. So I'm watching the NFL playoffs at a local establishment (that serves horrible food, has a bad atmosphere, and is over priced) where the clientele just bugged the hell out of me.

Now I'm not any GQ daddy. I'm not in the least a metro-sexual. I'm not some sort of fashionista. I'm not the sharpest dresser you've seen either. I'm just not. Most people aren't...I understand the way it is.

Here's what bugged me. As I looked around, 90% of the people in the place where wearing hoodies and a baseball cap. It didn't matter what age or gender. It was EVERYONE it seemed.

It bugs me.

I don't know why, but it does. I think I'm a snob. Does that make me old or arrogant?...or perhaps both? Does it matter what people wear? ...no of course not. Except that it bugs me. Everyone for the most part dresses like slobs these days. Hell I went to the movies and people were there in their freaking pajamas. Are the people of Walmart everywhere? It appears so. Walmart stays in business for a reason.

I don't know anymore. I don't understand. People in public settings gross me out. Pride has exited the arena. Maybe the next generation can save some sense of semblance and decor. I'm not holding my breath, but it would be nice.

No I am not anti-hoody. I'm anti dressing like a slob. It used to be cool to have the lone stand out Bill Murray of the crowd - now it's everyone. So much for individualism!
