It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. There are these things that come up from time to time (like every freaking day) in the news, that consume our bandwidth.
These things are gun control, birth control, war on women, patriotism, tax hikes, tax cuts, sequestration, secession, gas prices, inflation, war, terror, immigration, debt, social security, medicare, health care, jobs, stock market, etc.
Now throw these things in the mix, American Idol, soda restrictions, The Grammys, Beyonce, The Oscars, Justin Bieber, Duck Dynasty, bacon, Honey Boo Boo, The Voice, How I Met Your Mother, Taylor Swift, etc.
Then you have a nice mix of distractions. Your head probably can't / won't take it all in. Probably because you can't. There isn't enough time or space in your brain for it. Not to mention, the overflow of information, your tastes, your perceptions don't allow or want for such things.
You see that's genius. The more infiltrated our brains our with fluff and important things, mixed in with your work, family, and other time constraint issues...there's really no time for understanding. There's no time to care. There's no time to be heard. There's no time to make a stand.
The elite want this and thrive off of it, thrown it with just the way things are leads to chaos. This IS chaos. It's not controlled chaos...it is a freaking mess.
Distractions lead to chaos...because lack of control, reason, and logic is chaos. The EMOS are in control. Distraction is the recipe for the EMO appetite. The appetite of destruction.
Whatchyagonna do?

Of all of the other "things" you mentioned, I've watched ONE (Duck Dynasty) of them a couple of times and that was just to get some laughs at the stupid things some people do. (the bees issue and when they got stuck on the roof, their "solutions" are usually hysterical)
ReplyDeleteOther than that, what's the point of 'em let alone allowing them to distract you? Only idiots and fools get so wrapped up in that crap.
