Truth - HockeyDino Sucks

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.  Interesting how the traffic goes from up to 10,000 daily readers to just 200 per day on average.

What happened?

Well Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and others decided stop advertising because of my content. Well one of them said it was because of non unique visitors.  The rest are based on "content".

Facebook cuts my traffic from 5000 per day to 1000. Well that's based on me not wanting to pay for my posts.  Silly as that is, that's their prerogative. But content?

So how does one go from so many to hardly any?  My content really?  Let's see. Which of these content issues would cause a problem with someone?:

A.D.D. Rumblings

Yeah I think it's liberty, where I chime in on how silly the LEFT is. What do you say? What do you think?  Is squelching occurring?  Hmmm.

Maybe this blog just sucks and no one wants to read it anymore.  I can at least accept that if its true.  That is the free market working, for which I am a champion of.  But I would have no way of knowing because no one sees this!  If it were trending south, then I could have seen it coming.  But, just like your psycho ex, you don't see it coming and BOOM! - you are cut off.

This isn't your problem, it's mine. Interesting...when I had the traffic, I didn't worry about it.  No that there is hardly anyone reading, I'm a bit concerned.  Was it something I said?  Did they see your picture on my friends list and run away?

Am I supposes to do something viral or something? Do I need to make a Call Me Maybe lip sync video? Do I need to have a puppy sing?

Well for those 50 of you still reading this..thank you. Check is in the mail!

  1. I think a lot of folks who are loyal/regular readers get you and look forward to what you are going to say 'next'. Then again, I think that some folks are over all the political bs and bashing. Nobody wants to keep reading the same rants regardless if you're right, righteous or wrong. Your more popular reads aren't solely about sports, chics or liberty - they're those funny quirky reads that flow natural and aren't forced or preachy. You have the 'formula' to the funny bone, you just need to remember where and how to tickle the brains' fancy. Also, stop asking such personal questions that you won't even answer. The hypocrisy is quite obvious to your readers. Lastly, try to share MORE about yourself Dino - you used to and then your voice changed and some bitter anger seeped into your blogs as well as questions you ask(ed).

And yeah FB is guilty of putting the block cap on you because you won't pay to advertise. They've cut down my traffic as well and I'm a business as opposed to an entertaining blog page. Twitter is kewl but they have their quirks and kinks too. I wish you the best and know you'll get your groove back. Just go back to the basics like how you began and see if that's the ticket. And bring back your Vlog! That was great watching your rants from the dashboard cam! 8-)
