Fan and Foes Frequently Asked Questions

What the heck is Fans and Foes of Hockeydino?

The Fans and Foes page is an online community page on Facebook where topics are discussed that cover Truth, Sports (not with chicks), Liberty, and Chicks.  This page is a community where people who don't necessarily know each other can leave comments, debate, share in fun, promote their own pages and causes.  The Facebook Fan Page is not about Hockeydino exactly, he is just the host.  Yes, blog posts, vlogs, and notes though are imported from www.hockeydino.com to also promote discussion and ultimately hockeydino's blog.  The page is ultimately about the members...an online meetup of thoughts, arguments, debates, and laughter.

Question of the Day:
Each day there is a question or two posted, or a picture that needs a caption.  These questions are to promote discussion and everyone is welcome to participate.

Do you really get love mail & hate mail?
- Yes often people criticize my blogs, which are fine. But then they criticize fans and foes, and even pictures that are posted. I try to respond to all the email, sometimes it takes time.

Do you block people from commenting?
-Many spammers, hackers, and just mean people do get removed.   Try to keep the page clean. Only members who are 18 years and older can view and post on the Facebook Fan Page.
WHAT IS THIS?
This is where the group is trying to break the world's record for the longest thread.  Please like, share, and leave a comment often. You can be a part of history.

WHY ARE ARE YOU DOING THIS?
Why not?  It's fun.  It's a great way to meet new people, make new friends, and be part of something fun and interesting.

WHAT IS THE RECORD? We check weekly, but the record is currently 182,049.  We have far less at this time.

WHAT SHOULD I TYPE? Post about anything.  There's different topics on the thread.  You can join in, or you can just post anything you'd like.  C

CAN I JUST POST ONE WORD AT A TIME?
Originally, we kind of frowned down upon the one word postings.  However, it seems that if we want to break this record, we're going to need every post we can get, so if you want to post a sentence one word per post at a time, then go for it.

WHAT ARE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT WHEN THEY SAY THEY'RE IN JAIL?
It's not real jail.  Facebook will ban you from posting for 24 hours if you post too many things in a short period of time.  Moderation is the key.

WHY DOES HOCKEYDINO BAN YOU? Hockey Dino has nothing to do with Facebook banning you for a hours.  It's something Facebook does, not Dino.

HOW LONG WOULD I BE BANNED FOR?
Normally it's 24 hours, then you can go back to posting again.

HOW MANY POSTS WILL GET YOU 'JAILED'?
Depends on how quick you post.  Typically it's around 50 or so in the span of less than 30 minutes.

WE ARE ABOUT 110,000+ BEHIND.  THAT SEEMS TO BE A LOT TO CATCH UP ON. We do it 100 at a time.  We get to the 100 mark (or .k), then we work out way to the next 100 mark.  And then after that we work our way to the next 100 mark.  Eventually, we get to the 1,000 (or k), then we eventually we'll get 10,000 (or 10k), and so on and so forth.
